The Cremation Process. When a death occurs and a call is placed to our center, our professional staff will transport the deceased to our state of the art cremation facility.  During the state mandated 48-hour waiting period, the deceased is sheltered in a temperature controlled refrigeration unit on site.

If a family selects a traditional funeral service before the body is cremated, our staff will perform traditional embalming and preparations of the deceased for public viewing.

At the time of cremation, the deceased will be placed in a cremation container or casket of your choice for dignified placement within our on site cremation chamber.  The cremation process takes 2 to 3 hours and is over seen by our licensed and certified staff.

Once the cremation process is complete, the cremated remains are removed from the chamber.  Any foreign materials are removed, such as metals from bridgework or prosthetic devices, and discarded.  The cremated remains are then processed to a consistent size and shape.  Our staff will then place the cremated remains into a receptacle selected by the family.

A memorial service is often held following the cremation for final closure.

The cremated remains are either returned to the family or delivered by us to the cemetery or other final destination of choice.
